killers - night one
![]() There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life, and your door unlocks. You'll automatically find yourself knowing where to go, and that you should go. Make your way into the park; the door will unlock for you, and the path you need to take lights up with a dim red glow. When you reach the foot of the treehouse, a ladder has been dropped for you. Climb up and come inside. The interior of the treehouse has been made comfortable for you. There's an old map of the park on the wall, as well as the mounted and stuffed heads of cartoon animal costumes on the wall. The decor seems like something of a parody of an upscale hunting lodge, and you're welcome to sit by the fire and enjoy snacks from back home, or relax in one of the outdoor hammocks. For tonight, focus on getting to know one another! Enjoy yourself as you decide who to kill. After all, you're in on a little secret - none of this is real, and it's all part of a fun little game from which everyone, winners and losers alike, will wake up. rulebook profiles All night votes will be due September 22 by 11:30 PM EST. At that point, the night's victim will be alerted and (if they want) a kill log will be put up that you can talk to and kill the victim in. Kill logs are always optional. Make sure you've read the OOC post! |

Then maybe this first time, we should try to convince people not to vote so we get a chance to save someone. I mean - I know I wouldn't vote even if I didn't know the truth. I couldn't stand to execute someone who might be innocent; it goes against everything I believe in.

Are we still talking about the dog-killer? [now malik is a bona fide murderer] I'll make an impassioned speech about how executing the innocent would mean we were just as guilty of the crime of murder - it's black to the extreme. Even if the VIPs get a new convert, it's cowardly to commit a crime to prevent something that you only fear will come to pass.

So, if we convince them that no one here did do it, that it's just a trick to make us turn on each other...

You mean we should convince them the game is rigged... That's right - there shouldn't be any proof whatsoever that it was anyone here. And we already know they can kidnap people at will.

It's all about sticking together, isn't it~? We've all got to have each other's backs.

[ Ibuki doesn't want to lose! ]
Ibuki's pretty sure the first time they can talk themselves out of it!

It'd be out of character for me to not protest, though, so I wouldn't mind saying something, even if it's a little more subdued.

[A pause.]
Way way way is right, though. We're going to have to work our way down from 35, huh?
I wonder how often we'll be meeting like this.
