Welcome to the Hall of Mirrors, where you'll decide who is executed and who survives! In the afternoon, all characters will gather here, in a wide open room surrounded by distorting trick mirrors. At one side, near the dark tunnel which leads into the dark ride portion of this attraction, is a small ticket machine and a box. Get a ticket from the machine, write a name down, and deposit it in the box.

When voting is finished, the machine lights up with the sound of a bell, and the barred gates covering the tunnel to the dark ride portion will lift. Someone has been chosen, and you can take your leave.

Who: Killers and Kyouya
What: kiss kiss fall off the ferris wheel
When: The fourth night
Where: The park...

[It's in the dead of the night when Kyouya's door abruptly unlocks. His bracelet begins to beep. Something seems to be calling him, ordering him to leave his room. For every moment he delays, it beeps with more and more urgency, especially if he tries to bring anything. And besides, he feels groggy, not inclined to protest much.

As he steps outside, lights illuminate his path. The lights lead into the park. As soon as he steps through the door into the park, the door slams shut behind him. It won't open for him again, and pounding on the door or calling for help will not yield any results. It's only once inside that the grogginess wears off.

He can run or try to hide, but there's not much use to it. His bracelet is still beeping, the only obvious sound in the darkness. And though he's not restrained, he'll find there's no way he can strike a blow against the killers; the bracelet will tighten and he'll feel the grogginess return if he tries to fight back.]

There's no way to mark the passage of time after lights out, but it isn't long before the lightbulb in your bedroom flickers back to life, and your door unlocks. Make your way into the park; the door will unlock for you, and the path you need to take lights up with a dim red glow.

When you reach the foot of the treehouse, a ladder has been dropped for you. Climb up and come inside. The interior of the treehouse has been made comfortable for you. There's an old map of the park on the wall, as well as the mounted and stuffed heads of cartoon animal costumes on the wall. The decor seems like something of a parody of an upscale hunting lodge, and you're welcome to sit by the fire and enjoy snacks from back home, or relax in one of the outdoor hammocks.

Enjoy yourself as you decide who to kill. After all, you're in on a little secret - none of this is real, and it's all part of a fun little game from which everyone, winners and losers alike, will wake up.

Who: Mahiru Koizumi
When: Day 2, first thing in the morning
What: A delivery

[A cell phone, accompanied with a note, has been left outside of Mahiru's door. The cell phone has no personal information on it--it seems like it was reset--and all functions except for accessing the image gallery are locked. The gallery has two photos in it: one of her name being selected on a strange screen, and the next of "INNOCENT". The note reads as follows.]

Hello! We're the buddy cops, and we're getting in touch with you because we've confirmed you innocent! If you check the cell phone, the image gallery has pictures of our proof that we are who we say we are. It's also why we're getting in touch with you specifically! You have a camera, and with that we could photograph our results. We'd like to at least borrow it nightly. After discussing the issue, we think it would be safest for you if you let us borrow your camera for the duration of us being stuck here, since then you wouldn't have to keep sneaking around and we wouldn't have to use you to report our results, but since it's your camera, if you'd prefer to have it back regularly, just let us know in a note!

Please leave the cell phone, your camera (please!!!), and a note letting us know if you want us to give it back every day in the boat at the lake that looks like it wouldn't support any people so that way no one takes it out and finds it. Thank you!

[If Mahiru wants her camera back daily, she will find it in front of her door every morning.]

In Belgium's room, the panel with the cartoon animal painted on your wall slides up to reveal a hidden screen behind it; it has the look of the like a slot machine. In Oz's room, the door unlocks and a path leading to Belgium's quarters lights up with a dim glow. Any attempts to veer off this path or approach any other room will cause his bracelet to start beeping rapidly. For tonight, Belgium's door will unlock to Oz and Oz only.

You'll have to make an important decision tonight, and quickly; you only have an hour to decide before the power abruptly goes off again.

VIP Post

Hey there, VIPs! The actual night post won't go up until tomorrow, but we're throwing this up so you can look and check out how the killers are going to work in this game.

Our beautiful and attractive team of killers is: Ibuki Mioda, Tamaki Suoh, Patchouli Knowledge, Anise Tatlin and Royce Bracket (a buddy duo!), Ciel Phantomhive, and Edea Lee.

For now, everything is normal with you guys, but once night begins, brainwashing will take over. Whatever's been done to your brain (and it may present slightly differently in every single person!), it's intended to make you willing to kill, because this is all just a dream/virtual reality/a magic spell/ghosts and everything's okay!

You're able to figure out specifically how your brainwashing will work, but the main goals are to get the characters to participate in killing and to treat the game strategically, to have them have trouble telling fiction from reality and believing the deaths aren't real, and for them to pretend it is real during the day. Your character can believe the reward for winning is a prize, and it's up to you what they think that prize is. A few examples:

Variety A (Carefree) - This is actually a really fun competition! Part of the competition is successfully acting like everything is real! Everyone who dies actually just wakes up safe at home! And if you win, you're going to get a really wonderful prize. Money, three magic wishes, something you've been wanting for a long time.

Variety B (Heroic) - This is a little more serious, being stuck here isn't a good thing, and we need everyone to wake up so we can get home. But everyone who dies safely wakes up. You just need to make sure the VIPs win for the best outcome for everyone. For now, you need to pretend it's real to not draw attention to yourself.

Variety C (Selfish) - You know everyone thinks this is real, but you also know for a fact it isn't, and everyone who dies wakes up safe and sound. So you should really play to win so you can win the prize you want at the end, nothing that happens is going to cause permanent damage anyway.

Also, this particular type of brainwashing can lead to fuzzy thinking/forgetfulness. If it makes it easier for you for your character to just not be able to concentrate on certain trains of logic (like 'hey it's kind of fucked up everyone thinks the deaths are real and we aren't telling them') that's cool. If it's absolutely necessary to avoid giving themselves up, they can also temporarily lose track of their killer role or that deaths aren't real, but we'd rather them be able to play strategically.

Just do whatever seems fun for you, as long as it generally hits these notes and enables you to play your character as a killer. Feel free to brainstorm/ask questions here! We'll also throw together a plurk clique for you guys.
